The set includes 2,336 pieces and all accessories necessary for an off-road adventure. The 75th-anniversary set includes all the equipment necessary for a difficult off-road journey! Including roof racks, engine snorkels, off-road front bumpers with working winches, side rails, toolboxes, fire extinguishers, traction plates for mud and sand, and much more.
The set comes in a sage green color, and it is faithful to the classic Defender design. The two-in-one format allows builders to choose between building the everyday road-ready model or the adventure mode by adding accessories. The Defender has a unique record of adventure, humanitarian, and hard work around the world, making it instantly recognizable.
LEGO Design Master, Kurt Kristiansen, said that bringing the iconic Classic Land Rover Defender to brick life was not an easy challenge. During the design process, they wanted to infuse the LEGO set with a sense of adventure, and the two-in-one format allows users to load up with all the necessary gear for a race through the Scottish Highlands or navigating water or sandy dunes.
The LEGO Icons Classic Land Rover Defender 90 set will be available from 4th April 2023, but it will be available in VIP Early Access on 1sr April! The recommended retail price is 239.99€
