Welcome to the universe of LEGO Ideas Tales of the Space Age, an out-of-this-world set of connectable brick-built 3D postcards that let you explore endless possibilities of space. This 688-piece set is inspired by 1980s sci-fi myths, films, books and posters, and is now available for VIP Early Access from May 5th, 2023. Designed by fan creator Jan Woźnica, the set is priced at 49.99 € and is a perfect gift for space, astronomy, and art lovers.
The LEGO Ideas Tales of the Space Age set features four connectable brick-built 3D postcards, each depicting scenes from outer space. The postcards are designed in a minimalist style, allowing you to recreate colourful images of an observatory for viewing comets and shooting stars, a moon base and lunar eclipse, a space shuttle blasting through space, and a black hole.
You can display them individually or connect them in any order to create a unique intergalactic journey.
The pink/purple postcard features star elements that can be arranged to mirror the Ursa Major, Cepheus, Ursa Minor, or Cassiopeia constellations, making it an excellent educational tool for astronomy enthusiasts.
The postcards measure over 14 cm high, 9 cm wide, and 3 cm deep and can be displayed freestanding or hung on the wall using the hangers on the back of each one.
The set comes with separate building instructions for each postcard, making it an ideal group activity to enjoy with family or friends. The building process is an opportunity to explore the universe together and build a unique and engaging model that you can enjoy for years to come.
